At Lambs Tales Farm, we look for the sunshine in each day and enjoy our corner of the beautiful Willamette valley!
We were looking for the right place for our next chapter and found the perfect property to create Lambs Tales Farm. And yes, Both "Lambs" and "Tales" are plural. Lambs speaks for itself in the Spring and "Tales" are just one of the many things we like to share!
Running a farm takes constant upkeep and, from our point of view, why just keep up when you can make improvements. Over the years, many new fences have been installed to corral sheep, goats, and occasionally a wandering cow. A new barn took lots of planning and is now providing a safe, dry environment for lambing.
Once upon a time, the property had Christmas trees but those have disappeared and, in their place, now stands a young Hazelnut orchard. With time, these will be a popular and tasty addition to our offerings!
We love to use the products we grow & raise. Cooking fresh food is a passion of ours and sometimes we highlight our ideas on the "Treats" page. Rosemary is a classic flavor with lamb.
We're committed to providing high quality products that we enjoy using ourselves. Our heritage breed sheep provide beautiful natural color roving and batts. We use a local mill to produce our roving. We hope to expand the market for these products thru our Etsy Shop.
